Bring Conservatism
Back to Its Roots

Real conservatism conserves. Our parks. Our peace. Our paychecks. Our families. Our coast. Kate Cotten is running to take the Third District back for the people who actually live here.

Lake Charles Raised. Third District Rooted.

A Name You Know. A Fight You Recognize.

Kate Cotten comes from the family behind Cotten's Burgers in Lake Charles, a Southwest Louisiana institution built on hard work, fair dealing, and feeding your neighbors. That is the conservatism she was raised on, and it is the conservatism Washington has abandoned. Kate is running as a Republican to restore it.

The Choice in This Race

Clay Higgins Betrayed the Conservative Movement

Being loud is not the same as being conservative. For nearly a decade, Clay Higgins has voted for the spending that ballooned our debt, backed the interventions that perpetuate war, and stood by while Washington taxed our parks and our families with neglect. The Third District deserves a representative who conserves something.

The Higgins Record

  • Supported budget deals that piled trillions onto the national debt
  • Embraced escalation and intervention abroad, including toward Iran
  • Stood by as our national parks were starved and stripped
  • Delivered slogans to families instead of paid leave, pre-K, or childcare relief
  • Let outside corporations, from data centers to launch companies, take over our coast

The Cotten Commitment

  • Vote against any budget that grows the debt without a plan to pay it down
  • Oppose any new military intervention in Iran; require Congress to declare wars
  • Fully fund and protect the national parks, all of them, forever
  • Deliver a whole-life family agenda: leave, pre-K, school meals, childcare credits
  • Put Cameron Parish and the working coast ahead of any corporation's launch schedule

This Coast Is Worth Fighting For

From the Calcasieu Ship Channel to the Cameron shoreline, from the rice fields to the refineries, the Third District built this country's energy and fed its tables. Now it is our turn to be heard.
